‘Silver’ was one of Chelsea’s most gifted players. Able to stand up to a physical battering in the tightly contested packs that formed around ball-ups he had an uncanny knack of getting his hands on the ball and he was a wonderful finisher.
Given a set shot anywhere within sixty metres and you could put it in ink—he just never missed.
Deadly accurate with either foot Andrew was a dynamic presence in the middle of the ground.
