Scott Roberts played his Junior football at Chelsea with Tich Browns midgets and then from 1968 to 1971 (4ths), 1972 -1973 (3rds).
Scott played approximately 80 games with the 4ths and then over 40 with the thirds. He then played with the Reserves and Seniors between 1974 to 1977 and left Chelsea to live in Papua New Guinea in Feb 1978.
His first Senior Coach was Graham Cooper and then he played under Noel Anstey and for a few games under Mal Owens.
Most of his games were in the reserves in 74/75 however he did play a handful or two of first XV111 games over those years.
Scott missed a lot of games in 1976/77 seasons owing to University studies impacting on his ability to train and injuries especially a shoulder reconstruction.
