Robert Geoffrey Prideaux Club History.
Known as Bob or Big Bob and played at Chelsea between 1977and 1984. During his playing days he was a team manager of reserves and also acted as runner and trainer. Did various different jobs to help out the team during his
time at Chelsea and was assistant treasurer under mike weissenfeld and president Tom Williams. In his time as a player, if he wasn’t playing he would do the runner, interchange steward , time keeper, and even was goal umpire a couple times when goal umpire did not turn up.
Retired from football due to back problems.
After a break he came back as a trainer for the club between 1991 and 1993.His son James Prideaux played about 4 years in junior club and also 1 year in the under 18s in 1997.
