What more can we say about the B grade team, if perfection existed we’d be bloody close.

After finishing top of the ladder and having the first week off we met Tyabb in our first final and won to advance straight through to the GF. 
Right from warm up the team was on a mission and went in with an amazing level of focus and mindset of getting the job done. We came out firing in the first quarter and everyone had put a great level of intensity out on court. We knew it was going to require our best effort and 60 minutes of hard work to get the win. 
After the first half we really bumped things up a notch and utilised the depth of our rotations to capitalise on a tiring Somerville side. Although the margin was tight we maintained a good level of control over the game for the entirety with little doubt that we could do what was required to get the win. 
Michelle Hyndman, Jenna Howe & Rebecca Colak were critical in this game all playing their role to get tips, intercepts and rebounds when we needed them to get extra scoring opportunities. While Rebecca Graham was steady, consistent and calm in attack scoring really reliably and must be congratulated for being awarded the best on court medal with a great performance. Unfortunately this will be Beck’s last game as she too has decided to retire and will really be missed. 
This win was the perfect end to a perfect season and absolutely the cherry on top for a team that has worked tirelessly to be a supportive, connected and enjoyable team to be part of. What a season B grade, congratulations.
