2019 - SEASON OVERVIEW
After being relegated to Division 2 at the end of 2017, the Club commenced it's 2nd Season in the lower Grade looking forward to a competitive and productive season.
As was the case the previous The Seniors started the year strongly and spent the majority of the season inside the top 3. Unfortunately they slipped in the last few Rounds and finished the Home and Away in 4th Place with 12 wins and 6 losses. The Seniors then lost the elimination final against Somerville with an inaccurate 5-20-50 to 9-12-66.
The Reserves had a difficult season and finished 9th at the end of the Home & Away season with 8 wins and 10 losses.
Once again the U-19's competed well in a tough competition and finished in 8th place with 6 wins and 11 losses.
Senior Captain Tod Gardiner had a fantastic season, sweeping the pool in Division Two. Gardiner polled 23 votes to win the George Osbourne Medal, two clear of Somerville forward Paul Fermanis. Gardiner was also named the captain of the division two team of the year and took home the goal of the year award after a brilliant five-bounce six-pointer against Karingal.
