2018 - MPNFL REVERT TO DIV 1 & 2 STRUCTURE CHELSEA RELEGATED

After a period of consultation, The MPNFL has merged the Peninsula and Nepean Leagues into a 2 Tier Divisional Structure, to commence in Season 2018. Chelsea which had struggled in the Peninsula League for a number of previous seasons was relegated to Division 2 along with Karingal and Langwarrin. Sorrento, Rosebud and Frankston Bombers all moved up from The former Nepean League to Division 1.
