1985 - CHELSEA JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB ESTABLISHED

Showing great foresight former Chelsea Player Tom Gray set about establishing a seperate competition for young boys. With the assistance of Junior Coach Gary Murphy, Tom's vision did, in time, grow to become a vibrant competition with Teams ranging from Under 9's through to Under 16's.

As part of the master plan it was necessary to divorce the Under 16's from the Chelsea Senior Football Club. This was achieved in 1985 with the blessing of the Committee which could see the benefits of introducing young boy's to the joy of playing football in a structured environment.

Since it's evolution all those years ago, The Chelsea Junior Football Club has evolved and become an extremely sucessful entity in it's own right.
