Presidents Notice Update re COVID Management Rd 1

Dear Members,
Further to my communication dated 24/3 we have had amendments to the COVID protocols to enable the club to host/manage gameday events, please see the key points below you need to be aware of prior to attending RD 1 on Saturday 3/4.
Effective 6pm Friday 26th March 2021
•
Spectators attending local football/netball games are required to be compliant with Victorian state government directives.
•
Social distancing of 1.5mt is to be maintained.
•
If social distancing of 1.5mt cannot be maintained face masks are recommended for use unless you have a lawful exemption to this rule.
•
Up to 200 people can now enter the playing arena at each break whilst ensuring social distancing of 1.5mt is maintained.
•
If you are unwell or have flu like symptoms in the interest of public safety, please refrain from attending the venue and if required get a COVID test & isolate until results are received.
•
Density quotients for indoors is still 1 person per 2sqm, the function room upstairs can host 95 people excluding staff.
•
Changeroom access is for players/officials/coaches & medical team only.
•
Sign in is required when entering the facility, State Government allocated QR codes will be located on the game day newsletter that will be available at the gate. A manual register will be available if you cannot sign in via the State Gov QR code
•
The grandstand will have distancing markers on the seats we ask that if you are sitting in the grandstand that you comply with the markings.
•
Chelsea FNC has completed the COVID plan for gameday COVID management, the COVID plan can be found on the club website. http://www.chelseafc.com.au/
•
Food handling practices are inline with council guidelines, you will notice condiments will be provided in disposable sachets this season.
•
Chelsea FNC has been registered with DHHS as a Tier 3 venue that being less than 1000 spectators in attendance on any gameday, noting if we host finals a separate submission will need to be made.
We appreciate your support in complying to the above communication remembering these are not club rules but state government directives to enable all local sports to be able to get back to playing sport and community engagement.
